How to get there?

Visitors traveling to Pavones will be only 60 kilometers away from the Golfito National Wildlife Refuge, a small, and sometimes overlooked, wildlife refuge.
Spanning 28 square kilometers, this refuge was originally created to protect the community's water.
The Golfito Refuge is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna as well as exuberant vegetation.
